I agree. They should be given away freely. It’s hard for a customer to shop if they can get into the store. For many, on-line just isn’t the same experience as the catalog. Good point about the tax angle on Great Rewards and catties!
I think this is so important! But most folks just do what their upline/demonstrator does and thinks it is right. And that means a lot of folks get stuck thinking small.

Yep , I give mine away, just the other day at my weight washer meeting I took some ,
There was a lady pass around a computer made card for us to sign for someone’s birthday
I ask her , if she ever heard of Stampin up , she said no , so the following week I took her all three . She was excited , pluse I put a 2 card packet plus my business card , will see !!
She gave me her phone # , I call her left her a message , that if she had any questions please call me , cross your fingers,

Yes, I agree that they should be given away locally. It’s hard to ship at my cost though.

I always give my catalogs away – Just yesterday at a small gathering, the CTMH rep was charging $2 while mine were free..everyone was very surprised but like you said, that’s my store and I’m not going to charge someone to come in.. even just to look!
I’ve decided to left a little exclusivity surrounding my brochures for only those who purchase, however, I always give interested parties the double sided Product Listing which is a great summary of all the products and prices and fragrances! So there is still something for everyone…..
Jennifer, the beauty of direct sales is that we can all do it however we choose!
