Although January is not technically the start of the Stampin year, it does naturally fall into the feeling of a fresh start.

The end of December is typically a little slower and SaleABration is right around the corner. A good time to re-evaluate and take a fresh look at your business.

So here are 3 things you can do now to be sure your January rocks

1) Pre-Order from the Occasions min AND earn free SaleABration items

It is impossible to be ready for business if you don't have the goodies your customers are dying to see. PLUS with every $50 you spend you will get a free item from the SAB items, which is an awesome bonus and allows you to be even more prepared for success. If you want to be the expert your customers rely on, you have be ready to share what's new.

2) Set up product classes for the first 2 weeks of January

If you have your Occasions items then you are prepared to share them the beginning of January. Our customers are smart cookies and like to hold out for SAB to place their orders. So offer product driven classes the beginning of January. Single Stamp Set classes, 10 cards using a pack of DSP, a This and That  class.

These classes will get and keep your customers stamping, allow you to excite them more about SAB coming, and you will be the hostess of these pre order classes which means you can stock up on supplies for your upcoming events.

3) Connect with Your Customers

Sending hand stamped cards to my customers always brings a big return on my time.

I like to send a thank you card between Christmas and New Year. You can send to those who have hosted a workshop, people who have spent over $100 with you in the last 6 months, whatever criteria works for you. And be realistic. Don't commit to sending 100 cards and then get overwhelmed and send none. I like to make 20 at a time and keep working down my list.

I create a card using product from the Occasions mini. Typically a stamp set, dsp, 2 ink pads, 2 shades of card stock, and a new embellishment (ribbon, button, etc). Then I create a "kit"  they can purchase to recreate the card. I throw in a thank you gift if they purchase the kit: envelopes, spool of ribbon, jewels, etc.

I let them know this kit is only available to them as my thank you for being a great customer over the past year.

Hopefully these 3 little hints will help you hit the "new year" running!
